I salvage wood locally, laminate and steam-bend layers of wood together. The bent and handcut pieces are then finely sanded and hand-gilded with pure gold leaf. The wood is protected with several layers of oil rub and clear finish to protect and enhance the beauty of the natural wood. Scratch, tarnish, and water resistant.
These wooden drop earrings come with gold plated hooks with a closure on the back--they are nickel-free and hypoallergenic. Please message me if you have metal allergies or very sensitive skin, and I can make these with custom titanium, surgical steel, 14k gold filled, or 24k gold vermeil ear wires on request.
